Crisis Support Tips

Supporting Others in Extreme Emotional Distress

Ask-Care-Escort (ACE) to help. Show you care by asking a few important questions such as:

  • Have you felt like this before?
  • If so, what did you do?
  • What happened?
  • How was it resolved?
  • What would it take to feel better?
  • What would it take to keep you alive (in the case of suicidal thoughts)?
