The mission of the Department of Research Programs (DRP) is to facilitate research and ensure that all regulatory standards are met at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). Moreover, the DRP houses a state-of-the-art biomedical research laboratory capable of supporting a wide range of clinical laboratory studies.
