Laryngology
Our mission is to recognize and assist in rehabilitation of vocal disorders. We work very closely with the Speech Pathology department in the management of our patients with voice disorders. In the efforts to rehabilitate the voice medical or surgical interventions may be needed.
Common voice disorders managed by our Otolaryngology and Speech Pathology Team include:
- Vocal cord paralysis
- Laryngopharyngeal Reflux
- Dysphonia
- Vocal cord nodules
- Vocal cord tumors
- Sub-glottic and tracheal stenosis (narrowing)
- Tracheostomy care
