Chiropractic Clinic
Helping active duty service members with neuromusculoskeletal problems.
The quest for ever-improving patient care for military readiness as well as for overall family health is our defining mission. To us, this means that our health practices are founded on the latest medical knowledge with state-of-the-art technology. Delivery of service must, in our view, be in the trusted hands of a staff that possesses a caring, warm, and sincere human touch.
We evaluate and treat active duty service members with spinal conditions such as back spasms, back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and disc herniation, as well as:
- Headaches
- Chest pain (from musculoskeletal sources)
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Shoulder pain
- Hip pain
- TMJ syndromes
Certain conditions such as TMJ syndromes and disc herniation are evaluated and treated in collaboration with other WRNMMC specialists.
Chiropractic care is founded on adjustments. Adjustments are specific manipulations to joints or soft tissue to restore normal function and motion. Your treatments may include:
- Manipulation
- Physiotherapeutics (use of ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat and ice)
- Counseling/education on exercise and ergonomics
Patients who are not candidates for chiropractic care will be referred to an appropriate WRNMMC specialist.
