What is the Pain Care Skills Training?
This is a three-four day event including hands on trainings, lectures, and round-table discussions on best practice models of treatment, and evolving solutions to meet the needs of pain care within the military.
What is the purpose for this training?
The goal is to educate and expand the skills of primary care providers, warrior healthcare workers, pain management professionals, and any discipline that is involved in pain management in the DoD and VA.
2015 will be the 5th Annual Pain Care Skills Training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
Course will include topics: Stress Resiliency, Tai Chi/Chi Gong, TPI/Botox, Nutrition, CBT, ACT, Sleep, Battlefield Acupuncture, Successful Conversations with patients, Nursing for Pain, Nutrition, Palliative Care, Spirituality for Pain, Yoga, Jin Shin Jiujutsu, MSK Ultrasound, Perioperative Ultrasound, OMT, and Conflict Management.
