Pharmacy Message Center
On MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
You can send
non-urgent messages to our pharmacy team through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to:
- Activate new or renewed prescriptions
Example: “My doctor just prescribed a new medication for me. I would like to activate my new medication in advance to reduce my wait time when I go to Walter Reed in a few days.”
NOTE: You can also activate new or renewed prescriptions for same-day pick-up with our
Q-Anywhere texting service.
- Request prescription numbers
Example: “I want to request a refill through the Automated Call-in Refill Line, and I need my prescription number…”
- Plan for future medication needs
Examples: “I’m going on vacation soon, and I’ll need more of my medications before I leave…” or ‘I’m coming to see my doctor using Metro Access next week. Can you please have my renewal medications ready so I can coordinate my ride back home?”
