Pain Core Topics - This course is for Pain Fellows to review current pain topics for ACGME preparation for the AVA Pain boards. CME's offered.

Pain Journal Club - This course is for pain providers, fellows and pain related specialties to review the latest research and articles. CME's offered.
- 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1500-1600

Buprenorphine Course - This in person or online course provides information regarding the use of buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid addiction. It reviews legislation regarding office based opioid-addiction treatment, pharmacology, safety and effectiveness, patient assessment and selection, clinical management, special treatment populations, dosing, urine testing, and patient confidentiality.

Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategies (REMS) - FDA has mandated manufactures of extended release/long acting (ER/LA) opioid analgesics, as part of a comprehensive Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS).
- Target Audience: Physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, nurses, physicians assistants, dentist, and pharmacists

Battlefield Acupuncture Training (BFA) - This training utilizes five relevant ear acupuncture points used to quickly and affectively treat pain related issues.
- Goal: To have quarterly trainings for Physicians, PA's, NP's, Nurses and Corpsman to learn this skill.
- Training advertised on the Walter Reed Intranet
- Waitlist for those interested in registering in advance
- Train from 20-40 people each course
