The Directorate of Surgical Services at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda provides premier inpatient and outpatient surgical care for warriors, active duty and their families, and retired beneficiaries in a patient and family centered care environment. Surgical Services encompasses a comprehensive range of surgical-related specialties and education programs. We support outstanding academic medicine with advanced research, fully accredited residencies and fellowships, and surgical referrals for the most complex diagnoses and therapies.
