• World-class expertise in vestibular and auditory evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
• Research staff with expertise in a diversity of areas essential to the interdisciplinary study of communication disorders, including: Clinical Audiology and Speech Pathology Electrical Engineering, Speech and Hearing Science, Psychology, and Linguistics.
• Access to a large population of military personnel (active-duty and retired service members), family members and other beneficiaries
• Facilities and equipment for headphone and free-field sound testing, including a three-dimensional speaker array, auditory psychophysics, speech testing including auditory-visual presentation, and clinical standard-of-care audiometry and hearing-aid fitting.
