Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Training Program

We’re a certified training site for CPE. This nationally recognized training program prepares chaplains for board certification. It provides a relational learning environment for military chaplains that fosters growth in pastoral formation, reflection and competence. CPE provides theological and professional education using the clinical method of learning in diverse contexts of ministry. Such an environment involves mutual trust, respect, openness, challenge, conflict, and confrontation, and is in keeping with other professional clinical training programs for healthcare professionals.
