Closure Notification

As of 9:10 p.m., February 11, NSA Bethesda's Commanding Officer has directed the closure of the installation to ensure the safety of staff and visitors. As a result, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is open for emergency and inpatient services only. 

All outpatient clinic appointments and elective surgeries will be rescheduled. Clinic staff will contact patients to reschedule as soon as possible, and virtual appointments may be available. Scheduled virtual appointments will continue as scheduled unless otherwise notified by your provider. 

All emergency/mission essential active duty and civilian personnel assigned to emergency and inpatient services report as scheduled, or as directed by your supervisor. Please contact your chain of command for any additional questions.
