Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMF)

Providing routine and preventive care for oral and facial surgeries.

Our mission is to provide a full range of Oral and Maxillofacial services of the highest quality in a medical center setting. We also provide an environment conducive to the training of competent and caring Oral surgeons. We provide excellent patient centered care that prevents, restores health, and maximizes readiness.

We serve active duty, retired military personnel and foreign dignitaries. Patients are seen by way of consultation.

Retired Army Col. Larry Reiman, a Walter Reed National Military Medical Center patient, and Capt. Melissa Austin, Walter Reed's director, commend long-time orthotist Dennis Harris for over a decade of outstanding patient service at the Department of Rehabilitation, Oct. 2, 2023. Harris began his career as a Navy corpsman, worked in private industry, and returned to work for the military at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) in the early 2000s. (DOD video by Ricardo J.
