COVID-19 Centralized Screening Area
The Centralized Screening Area (CSA) is located in front of General Surgery in the Arrowhead Zone, on the first floor of Building 9.
The Centralized Screening Area (CSA) is a designated space equipped to safely test for COVID-19. All official visitors, patients and staff experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should report directly to the CSA before conducting business in the medical center.
Who can use the CSA?
- TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries and WRNMMC staff members experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
- WRNMMC staff members instructed by the WRNMMC Occupational Health Clinic to get a COVID-19 test before returning to work
- Active duty service members and WRNMMC staff members on military travel orders that require COVID-19 testing (Family members of the active duty sponsor who are on the same official travel orders can also use the CSA.) NOTE: You must bring your orders with you to the CSA.
**The CSA is unable to accommodate any other testing requests.**
What if I don't meet the criteria?
You can find alternative testing locations using the following resources:
TRICARE-eligible beneficiaries who do not meet the criteria above may find more information about COVID-19 testing here.
How does the CSA work?
The CSA accepts walk-ins only. After your evaluation, CSA personnel will provide discharge instructions (i.e. how to access appointments or report for work).
All eligible beneficiaries should visit the CSA during normal business hours. This includes beneficiaries with COVID-19 symptoms who do not require emergency care. After-hours testing in the Emergency Room (ER) should be limited to emergency cases only. All ER patients are triaged according to the severity of illness.
